LAG Meeting

On 22 July 2010 we had our 4th LAG meeting at Holme Nurseries in Wareham.  What a fabulous venue with perfect weather for a barbeque which was enjoyed by all prior to the meeting.  4 Fast Track projects were presented and approved on the evening.  Please see Getting Funding/Projects.  West Dorset Small Woodland Co-operative presented their First Stage application and the project was approved by the LAG as well.  Our next meeting will be held on the 23rd of September - venue to be advised.

New Fast Track Projects

In May 2020 we introduced the NEW Fast Track project scheme which was approved by the Local Action Group Executive.  Fast Track grants are available up to £10,000 to a maximum project spend of £40,000.  The Fast Track process will be open to applicants applying under any of the Programme Objectives. Applicants can be accepted from individual businesses, groups of businesses, social enterprises or community groups looking to develop income generating activity associated with the land or marine environment.

So far the LAG have approved 6 Fast Track Projects since May 2010.  You can find these under Getting Funding/Projects.  We are excited that we have had such a great response and looking forward to receiving many more projects.
