There are many different sources of funding available - the problem is finding the right one for you and your project. Here are a few alternative options, but by no means an exhaustive list! If you come across a good scheme that isn't listed here then please let us know.

Awards for All - Grants of £300 to £10,000 for a broad range of community based projects, all not-for profit groups are eligible to apply

Arts Council - Grants of up to £30,000 for individuals and up to £100,000 for organisations to increase opportunities for cultural diversity in the arts, invest in the creative talent of individuals, and increase
resources for the arts

Baring Foundation - Grants of up to £7,000 for not for profit organisations to create opportunities for people with limited access to the arts, encourage education through the arts and support the exchange of knowledge and skills

Barrow Cadbury Trust - Grants of up to £15,000 to registered charities for projects that enable groups to act as catalysts of social change

BTCV Chestnut Fund - Up to £300 for groups associated with BTCV to carry out conservation activities

Business Link - A small business grant finder is available on the website

Esmee Fairbairn - For charities or Organisations with charitable objectives to carry out projects in the fields
of Arts & Heritage, Education, Environment or Social Change

First Light Studio Award Scheme - Up to £20,000
for organisations directly involving young people to make between two and four short films

Onxy Environment Grant - Grants of up to £150,000 for projects within 10 miles of a landfill site that reclaim land, install or refurbish play facilities, create nature reserves and preserve or restore buildings of historical or religious importance.

Regional Community Loan Fund South West - It makes loans from £15,000 to £100,000 to the community and voluntary sector

Rural Enterprise Gateway - Up to £1,500 for groups
of rural, particularly land-based, businesses for collaborative projects which improve business performance

Princes Trust - Provides support and grants of up to £10,000 for young people between 14 and 30

Tudor Trust - Grants for charities or organisations with charitable objectives to build stronger communities through support to marginalised groups

Your Heritage - Grants between £5,000 to £50,000 for not for profit organisations to conserve and enhance the UK's diverse heritage or encourage communities to identify, look after and celebrate their heritage
