Sarah runs the whole thing from Leader to local products, and has been with Chalk and Cheese from the beginning. She has a rural development background, and worked extensively in the local food sector across the UK. She has now perfected the art of delegation and basks in the glory
of everyone else's hard work!

Ovi Rominger
Assistant Manager and head chef
After a background in agriculture & horticulture, and project based local food and tourism work at Bournemouth University, Ovi joined Chalk and Cheese. He's in charge of the day-to-day running of the Leader + programme, monitoring projects and their finances and helping anyone who doesn't understand them!

Project Development Office and fixer
Martin provides advice and support to our developing projects and assists everyone with their project management problems after they've secured funding. With a background in project management in the IT sector and an eternal optimism born from his love of a certain Northern based football team, the man can fix anything!

Mary Pengelly
Local Products Manager and wise oracle
Mary manages all our local products work, from
training to exhibiting, study tours to strokes of brilliance. And all this whilst working on the family
farm and managing self catering accommodation. Mary's been with Chalk and Cheese for far longer
than she ever anticipated….. but we just won't
let her go!

Jenny works with us on an advisory basis, regularly downloading the contents of her brain to help with all our local products work. Jenny has two farm shops, and what she doesn't know about the sector is generally not worth knowing, but where she gets her energy from beats me!
